Is the i5-9500f or 9600kf worth it over the 9400f

If paired with a Z390 board then the 9600KF would be worth it for the overclocking but if not overclocking or pairing with a locked board then I'd get the 9400F as it can usually be found for a bit cheaper then the 9500F and the performance difference would be minimal.

That being said if your upgrading or building a new system I'd highly recommend AMD Ryzen 2600/3600 due to the extra threads and similar price.
