i5 Cpus that are compatible with an alienware 0pgrp5 motherboard?

So right now I have an alienware x51 unsure what model.

It currently runs an nvidia gtx 745 and a i3-4150 cpu.

I was looking to upgrade the cpu but not sure what i5 processors are compatible with the motherboard.

The motherboard is an Alienware 0PGRP5.

If you guys have any suggestions that would be great!

i5 4460.

in your motherboard fit al i3 4xxx i5 4xxx i7xxx processors.

if you ever think to upgrade the GPU, you got to upgrade the psu first... actually i would replace that psu whenever u can.

Look for a CPU that says socket 1150 or Intel LGA 1150.

You're replacing the i3? Then forget about the 4460. Get the 4690k, you have faster base clock speed, and you can overclock it in the future. If in the future you ever decide "I want to overclock this thing and squeeze out as much performance as I can", you'll be glad you got it. If you're absolutely sure though that you don't want to overclock the 4460 (I don't suggest it, you may easily change your opinion in the future), then get the 4460.
