i5 Overclocking Recommendations

I currently own an Intel i5-4690k in my build. I also have 1 SSD, 1 HDD, 1 GTX 970, and 1 optical drive,4 chassis fans, and 2 CPU fans (I already bought and assembled it so part recommendations aren't needed). I have a corsair CX600w and really want to over clock my CPU. Would that be possible? And if so, what would you recommend?

The most you should do with your psu is overclock to turbo specs.

So would 4ghz be ok? And also is this relatively low?

The CX series aren't the most reliable but yes you can go for some overclocking

idk.. i have the same cpu and all i did was take it to 3.9ghz and it is great.

i suppose 4ghz is not bad as long as your not turning up the voltage.

My cpu (granted its a i5 3570k) will perform upto 4.2Ghz on an undervolting. Anything past this and I must apply a overvoltage. Your results could be similar. You could find yourself overclocking and using less wattage then you were previously.
