I know the i5 is considered the sweet spot for gaming these days but since new games are starting to use more than 4 cores (like crysis 3 for example), would it be a good idea to buy an i7 for extra future proofness? Games DO use hyper-threading ie if you look at the difference between an i3 and a Pentium G (only 2 threads) there is a huge difference, so if most games were starting to use 8 threads instead of the current 2-4 then an i7 would be justified, correct?
