I5 vs i7

I am trying to decide between an i7 and an i5 ivy bridge CPU for my new build. I use Photoshop for my photography business and edit RAW files. Plus I also am using this as my gaming rig. Is it with the extra $100 for the i7? I am upgrading from a q6600. Tia

If you can spend those 100, go i7...
i7 has HT (so the OS sees 8 threads) and more L3 cash, thus helping Photoshop running bit faster...

however, both CPU will be huge upgrade, so pay good attention what your wallet has to say... 😉
