Question I5 vs I7

Im buying a laptop and there is one with gtx 1060 and i5 8300H and second with gtx 1050ti and i7 7700HQ.

I would like to ask which one is better i5 8300H or i7 7700hq and how big is the difference.

For gaming, I would get the i5 with a faster video card over an i7 with a slower one.
