Question i7-10700k having trouble with load temps on some games

I've been having trouble with my cpu temps on my i7-10700k as of late but it's with load and only on certain games

on idle temps are fine going between 38 to 42 degrees Celsius. However, on some games like rdr 2 and hitman 3, the temps exceed past 85 C (with mendoza reaching 90 degrees!) and this is with me undervolting the cpu. however with cyberpunk 2077 it will barely breach 80 on it's most intense moments, same with the recent robocop game(fun game btw)

Thing is, I have dusted the pc only a couple weeks ago and the temps seem fine then but now they're getting worse. Note: I simply sprayed the inside of the case and the radiator without taking anything apart so i haven't removed my AIO mount but I did send the pc to NZXT because the psu died to which they replaced it with a same 1000w psu, just a different brand(the MSI MPG A1000G PCIE 5)

specs

i7-4700k cpu

RTX 3080ti

32 gb ram

N7 z590 motherboard

weird because all the fans are running on cam and one of the tubes is warmer than the other.
Software tells you if fans and pump are spinning, but it does not tell you if the fluid in the loop is flow well or not.
The behavior you describe about the tubes is the opposite of what good loop flow should be. You should be having trouble, or barely notice a difference in how the 2 feel.

admittedly, it is barely noticeable, only could tell by wrapping my fingers around it but I could tell regardless.

Put it under a load, like Cpu-Z's bench or Cinebench, and see if it stays that way. If it doesn't, the fluid isn't flowing as well as it should.
The fluid goes to the radiator to cool down, but it doesn't happen in a single pass.

By the way, what case is supplied with this prebuilt? And they installed the rad at the roof of the case, right?

at work atm so won't be able to test it til later but I can tell you that it's a H510 case, the one with the vented front and that's where the radiator is with the fans to the right of it pulling in air. There's a fan on top and a fan to the back side of the case acting as exhausts.

Ah, the H510 Flow.
Ok, will wait and see how things go.

update: I opened up the case and decided to dust it as I did two weeks prior and temps are down. example: for when the mendoza vineyard in hitman 3 was reaching 90 degrees, now it's only reaching around 75. I'm not considering this solved yet though. I'll check back in a couple weeks and give everyone an update.

Is it possible that there's buildup inside the pump somewhere?

OP said in post #8 that it was the H510 'with the vented front', so I assumed it was the H510 Flow...
Correct.

a couple of days later and temps are steadily increasing again and I did another stress test and this time I did feel the tube getting warmer than last time.

my next question, I'm past warranty with it sadly so what are my options?

edit: my temps started to steadily climb to past the 50's in idle so I turned off my pc. Turned it back on and now my temps are in the mid 30's now

any recommendations for new coolers?
There's Thermalright's Peerless Assassin or Phantom Spirit that have gotten much buzz lately. Silver Soul 135 if you have ram you don't want obstructed.
If Thermalright isn't available, there's Deepcool's AK or AG 620... Scythe FUMA 3...

If you prefer to keep using an AIO:
be quiet! Pure Loop 280 or the Pure Loop 2 version
Deepcool LT520
Lian Li Galahad 2 Trinity
