Hi.

My specs are
I7 11700k stock
Cooler Noctua NH-D15
2x8Gb Kingston Fury 3600MHz
MSI Z590 Torpedo
CM V2 850W Gold

My problem is cpu idle and load temp. Idle is 38-42, load on Intel Burn Test 80-93, peaks 100C.
On gaming starts from 71C and generally sits at 76C and peaks 85C.
Mobo BIOS settings are deafult [voltages auto, etc], only ram xpl profile is enabled 3600MHz.

Many reviews showing that this cpu temps are on 55-65C on gaming with the same cooler.

How to drop this CPU temps? I'm really worried.

SOLVED. Third case fan was mounted wrong. Now temps are dropped for 15 degrees on load.
Hi, can you share a bit more on your case? How many case fans do you have and what are their configurations? I’m having the same high heat with 11700K also.

Case is MS Industrial Cyclops IV Gaming.
Front are 12 and 14mm and they are cooling hdds. On back of the case I have one 12mm which pulling hot air from Noctua NH D15 coolers. My mistake was wrong mounted back cooler.

Now temps are 60s and 70s and in stresa tests peaks 86.

Try to reseat cooler and change thernal paste. I'm using GD 900.

I already changed thermal paste and reseat cooler, not helping at all. My case has 3 intake fans at the front. I’m thinking of adding another exhaust fan at the back of the case, do you think that will help?

Exhaust fan at the back is important. You will notice a big difference and big thermal drops.
Try it and give a feedback...

Also, there is undervolting cpu. I undervolted with negative offset [-0.080] and SA voltage to 1.350V [auto was 1.4V], because msi boards have so big auto voltages... and I noticed better thermals without loosing performance.

What mobo and what cooler you have?

I have Asus TUF Z590-plus and Noctua NH-D15s.
