Im going to build my new pc using:
MBD: Rog Z690 E Gaming WiFi
CPU: i7-12700k
….
Now im confused with Ram , i want to use 4 stick of Ram , upon my research i found that the i7-12700k has issues supporting 6000mhz plus Ram when using 4 sticks.
So what is the safe option to use 4 DDR5 Ram and what speed i7-12700k can handle for Intel XMP all 4 Ram sticks?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

How many GB's of ram are you looking for? I'm sure you'd be fine with a 2x ram kit.
I totally agree with you, but im going to use 64 GB total Ram and i want to use 16 GB per Ram stick , base speed is 4800 , but on XMP with Rog z690 E how much speed i can get ?
….
Even its a dual channel Ram motherboard but i will be using 4 Ram

In short, because of the way memory controllers work, using 2x32 supports faster speeds than 4x16. 4x16 may not even be supported!

You must consult the motherboard QVL. It will be on their website. Look at the RAM kits they tested and confirmed are compatible. It will also state the highest speed.

I recommend 2x64, but it's up to you. Is there a reason you want 4x16?

Here is the ram worksheet for your motherboard:

Dual channel performance is equal, if not better with 2 sticks than using 4 sticks.
It costs more for 64gb in a 4 stick kit than a 2 stick kit.
That is because of the extra difficulty in matching 4 sticks vs. 2.

The only reason I can think of wanting 4 sticks vs. 2 is for aesthetics.

Thanks for solving the issue for me , with your idea i checked on Rog site and found that i can use 4 sticks of ram at 6000mhz on i7 12k , to get maximum speed need 2 stick but for 4 stick there are limited setup bios update,
And thanks for understanding,
Honestly i even don’t need more than 32 GB ram , all im trying is to get 4 RGB at the best speed,
This will be my setup until 2028

Thanks again , I checked the bios Memory and found that i can use 4 sticks of Corsair or Kingston at 5200-6000 mhz on i7 12k ,
Definitely i need the RGB and 4 sticks is fine for me ,
Right now im using DDR4 ram 2500 mhz 4 sticks and im perfectly fine with the speed ,
For DDR 5 it’s already 2x for me
My budget per 2 Ram stick is 120$ as i need RGB ones

Glad you got the correct RAM. And you're probably right about not needing 64. I have 64 and i wonder... why? I don't break 8 Gb 😀
16 or 32 would be enough.
