Hi, new to the forum.
I am having a weird issue where 6 of 24 cpu threads goes to 100% while gaming. I just upgraded the motherboard, gpu, ram, and cpu.
It starts off normal, but after 30 mins of playing it happens, and I can feel stuttering and fps drops. If i Alt-tab the game, the threads go back to normal again, but eventually goes to 100%.
I've tested many different games and it seems to happen in all of them.
I've also tried to disable hyper threading, but no difference there.
ReBAR is on, XMP is on. I don't have rgb in my case.
RTSS reads cpu 1,3,5,7,9,11 is at 100%
Specs:
- i7 13700k
- ASUS RTX 4070 DUAL OC
- 32gb 3200 mhz CL16
- ASUS TUF Z790-PLUS D4
- Windows 11
