[SOLVED] I7 13700k test.

Just put my new build together and my current CPU cooler isn't compatible as I made an error in thinking it was the same bracket. Would it be ok just to switch on to bios just to make sure it posts then turn straight off?

Your computer will boot but shut down right away because CPU is overheated so get cooler before you even try using it!

Yeah still risky even if your going into the bios just make sure you buy cooler for the correct CPU and then you can try it out without having to worry.
