So as the title says, whats the real difference between the two? I've seen that the 2700k has an extra 0.1GHZ standard config, which isn't worth the extra cash.
The biggest difference from the Intel® Core™ i7-2700K to the Intel Core i7-2600K is the 100MHz clock speed difference but there is another reason for the Intel Core i7-2700K but it isnt clear yet and should start to make its presence felt in the next couple months.
