Yes, it should - although the "K" variant would be a wasted effort, unless you already own it.
The TDP is the same (stock) between the 2600 and 2600K, and that board won't allow you to overclock the K.

If you're looking to buy, then an i7-2600 (non-K) would be the better chip to consider (and almost certainly cheaper too).
