Hello! Will a i7 3770 bottelneck a AMD R9 380?

@carl157 while what dark lord of tech says is true bottlenecking can go both ways your gpu is too weak for the processor in this case

I don't believe either of those are very strong components, if anything neither of them are really much stronger than the other to have a bottle neck. The gpu is probably slightly weaker but it shouldn't give a bottleneck.

you're fine, if anything the gpu is a bit weak for your cpu, I think that was essentially a rebranded hd 7950 which is similar to an rx 460 iirc. An rx 570 or 580 would be a decent budget pairing, I've been able to play anything fine on 1080p with my several years old now rx 480 8gb...I think the 8gb vram was a bit overkill in the end for only 1080p so a 4gb gpu would be fine for 1080
