[SOLVED] i7-3770 with mb Gigabyte Z77-DS3H max MHz speed for RAM?

Hi, I have n old PC and I was think of upgrading the RAM. Does anybody know the max Mhz speed supported by this CPU/MB ?

Shouldn't have much trouble with 1866 or even 2133Mhz.

Also make sure you OC it to 4.3GHz single core, 4.2GHz for 2 cores, 4.1GHz for 3-4 cores.

Given that it's Intel, probably.

The linked item is on the approved vendor QVL meaning it was tested and has the nod from the manufacturer. Anything else is possible but not approved/supported specifically by Gigabyte.

To be fair, DDR3-2666 would've probably came out after Z77, so the QVL list may have ceased to have been getting updates by the time DDR3-2666 as more widely available.

Anything over DDR3-2133 was pretty spicy/rare anyway.
