Lately i have been planning to upgrade my hardware so i checked what i need. When i checked my CPU temperatures i realised that my CPU had about 85-100c when only chrome and Skype was operating.I have the stock cooler and i am considering to upgrade to liquid cooling but i want to know if it is the cooler's or the CPU's fault. If it is the CPU's fault i would really like some recommendations to maybe fix the problem.
Any help appreciated.

(English is my second language so i may have some mistakes)

You can reapply thermal paste it won't hurt anything too do that. Your stock CPU cooler should be able to keep unit at stable temperatures, any issues with computer? What tool are you using look at temperature of your...
Yeah that is not normal at all too have that high of a temp. Unless the stock CPU fan is malfunctioning it is most likely something to do with the CPU. Make sure that you have thermal paste applied. Are you sure it's not on farhinenet setting ?

I haven't changed my thermal paste since i bought my PC (1.5 years ago)and also it was pre built so i have not checked that. The cooler seems to be running at around 1500rpm so it cant be a mulfanction and it is not Fahrenheit.Do i have to apply thermal paste again?

I havent got any issues lately except from some fps drops but nothing too scary.Iused the HWmonitor to see the temps as well as RealTemp.
