hello fellas. i need a piece of advice here.
Overclocking up to 4.5ghz 8-12hours a day
workstation pc. doing a lot of 3d modeling and rendering.
softwares: Revit, 3ds max, autocad.
im on a budget now. but i want to spend it on a good cpu and mb. and upgrade later if i have the budget again.
1st build is (intel): spending more to a great cpu and mobo. and spend less on gpu for now to fit my budget. and upgrade later on for a better gpu.
CPU: i7 4770k
MB: Asrock z87 Extreme 4
COOLING: Noctua NH-D14
RAM: Ripjaws x 16 2x8gb 1600
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1tb
SDD: Sandisk ultra+ 128gb
GPU: HD 7870 ( i know this gpu is kinda old, but ive read that it can give performace, ill buy an already used gpu from a trusted seller for $134.)*note: price is converted to dollar from php.)
other options for gpu to fit the budget based on our country price are:
560ti
r7 260x
2nd build (amd): spend less on a decent cpu (fx8350) and and a great mobo. and have a great gpu (r9 280x)
CPU: FX 8350
MB: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev 4
cOOLING: Noctua NH-D14
GPU: r9 280x
RAM: Ripjaws x 16 2x8gb 1600
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1tb
SDD: Sandisk ultra+ 128gb
I'm confused that if i go to my build. i may suffer to gpu performance but i can upgrade it later if i do have the budget.
if i go to my amd build. i will have a great cpu, gread mobo, and a great gpu.
question is:
1.)what are your suggestions? go to plan 1 or plan 2?
2.)Which of the two build will perform better in 3d modeling?
hope for your replies guys.
