I7 4790 and gtx 960 2gb or i5 4690k and gtx 960 4gb

Hi all. Please help me choose. I plan to buy a new pc for gaming this week with a limited budget. I have to choose between two systems.

1st option: i7 4790, msi z97, 8gb 1600 ram, gtx 960 2gb.

2nd option: i5 4690k, msi z87, 8gb 1866 ram, gtx 960 4gb version.

Which one do you guys think will perform better in game? They are from 2 different suppliers and they cost more or less the same.

If you are only going to be gaming then the 2nd option is much more preferable as that i5 is a beast for gaming and the extra 2gb on the gpu will be needed for future triple a titles and allow you to play games at higher resolutions.

I am having them pre build yes. They will both have ssds and so on. Im from south africa so I have limited buying options. My budget translates to about 1200$.

I think my suggestion may be a bit above budget but I could be wrong.

The Second PC's Second option would be the best bang for buck PC there.

1st option is the best: go for i7 and 2 gb of 960 would be great, and you can change ur gpu without any problems formatting your pc. but if you wanna change the i5 you have to format the pc.

take the easy way.
