i7 4790k and what mobo for ARMA 3?

Im thinking of buying a i7 4790k to run arma 3 lakeside on good fps

i need a new motherboard tho because i go amd core right now a8-6000k

what cpu/mobo for arma?

The 4690k with a good cooler will often match a 4790k w/ same cooler. At stock, the 4790k (4.4 GHz) has a significant edge over the (3.9 GHz) 4690k.

My recommendation would be:

MSI Gaming 5 if using MSI cards
Gigabyte Gaming 5 if using Gigabyte cards

As you can see here.... nothing to be gained by spending $200 more.

Be aware for anyone who wants to reply with ''That's a H97 motherboard instead of Z97'', you can actually OC with this mobo like a Z97. Neither of the mobo's listed support SLI.
