I7 4790K enough for SLI?

I am getting a 4790K along with a Asus Z97-WS 4-way sli motherboard. Will I experience severe bottle-necking and slowdown with a 4790K or is it ok for sli?

Socket 1150 cpu's are limited to a single pcie x 16 or dual pcie x 8 or pcie x 8/4/4 or 4/4/4/4. I dont know what effect that has in sli performance. Can anyone elaborate?
