Question i7-4790k Win11

Hey Guys,

trying to understand minimum system requirements by Microsoft for win11. it says minimum of 1ghz cpu 4gb ram bla bla... and TPM 2.0? if i put TPM header to my mobo which is gigabyte z97x-gaming 5 am I going to be compatible with win11 even the cpu is not listed as supported? since it's over 1ghz and i will install TPM Module on mobo?

Pc spec:
CPU: i7-4790k
MOBO: Gigabyte z97x-gaming 5
RAM: 16GB
GPU: GTX 1070
SSD/HDD...

don't worry about it. MS still changing the requirement

MS sais : Intel generation 8 and not older.

But:

no panic, there are many months, until win11-update is available for free, and there will be a lot of tests and and forum-threads about this.

MS are gradually increasing the range of CPU they test with WIN 11 so maybe, we don't know where the cut off will be yet.

Currently, that CPU (same as mine) is NOT on the supported list.

This may change.
