Hey Guys

Is the i7 4790k worth it? Because the Skylake is out. I can't buy the i7 6700k at the moment, because they're every time sold out. So the only alternative is the i5 6600k.

The i7 4790k and the i5 6600k costs with Mainboard and RAM exactly the same.

Solution
You should go with the I5 - 6600k , being more futureproof, while having simillar performance in gaming.
Also the Overclocking capabilities are better on Skylake.
Not worth it anymore to go with the older Haswell on new builds.
