Question i7-4790K & Z87 ASRock OC Formula ac / 144HZ

I just got a new triple monitor setup (Dell S-Series 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Gaming Monitor (S2719DGF); QHD (2560 x 1440) up to 155 Hz; 16:9; 1ms Response time). See my current build below, is the CPU/Mobo a bottleneck for 2K 1440P Gaming on my rig?

Case: NZXT Phantom 820
Mobo: AsRock Z87 OC Formula/ac
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti FTW3
PSU: PC Power & Cooling MKIII 1200W
CPU: I7-4790K 4.0GHz
RAM: G.Skill Trident X Series 32GB DDR3 2666
AIO Cooler: NZXT Kraken X61

The first thing u need to consider is that there will always be some sort of bottleneck as there is no perfect match between CPU and Mobo.

I would say that the CPU is slightly underwhelming although some of your parts indicate that this build was put together a few years ago.

Are you planning to upgrade right now? Or are u just checking if it's time to upgrade?

The only upgrade would be the monitors to a 2K triple monitor set up so I can game at 1440P. I think im still good just wanted to make sure there were no drastic bottlenecks @ 1440P
