I had minimal issues Overclocking my i7-4930k on an Asus P9X79 PRO motherboard to a stable 4.5Ghz, however, I cant seem to get the voltage under 1.408v and wanted to touch base with a broader community of people to see if anyone had any tips or tricks to get this lower while maintaining the same OC? 1.408v might be ok, but it seems a little high to me, please correct me if I am wrong. Any information anyone has on this would be greatly appreciated.
Currently using 100 with a 45 multiplier (tried the 125 with a 36 multiplier, definitely didn't like that lol)
By the way, almost forgot to mention at 4.5Ghz and 1.408v I am getting the following temps:
Idle: 28-32 degrees across all 6 cores
Normal Load: 40-48 degrees across all 6 cores
Prime95 @ 30 min : 56-69 degrees across all 6 cores
