i7 4930k or i7 4790k?

Hey guys, I need some opinions on what CPU to get. I'm gonna overhaul my current build which has a i7 2600k in it right now. What do you guys think would be better? The new 4790k or the 6 core 4930k? I'll be mainly doing a lot of gaming. I will also be rendering YouTube videos. I would also love to overclock the processor I get as much as I can on liquid cooling. I just need suggestions on which one to buy.

I've looked this up many times and have seen people suggesting the 4790k over the 4930k including you. So, I think I will go with that one. Thank you!

I'd suggest saving your money /as that 2600k is more powerful than you need for gaming atm/ and get an extra SSD for video capture/temp, more RAM and a faster GPU.

Yeah no problem, the only time you would need a 4930k for gaming would be a game like BF4, if you're playing at 4k, and want more than 60fps (which I don't think you need). For video rendering, there would be an increase, but nothing able to justify the extra ~$500 for the different platform.

The i7 2600K is still a seriously awesome CPU that you do not need to upgrade. 'Upgrading' to either of these CPUs will just feel like a waste of money once it is over, unless you are encountering a serious bottleneck somewhere.
