i7-6700 with CR-80EH fanless

Would a NoFan CR-80EH keep an i7-6700 at reasonable gaming temperatures with 100 cfm intake and 60 cfm exhuast

Well in theory it should. They haven't updated their compatible CPU's since Haswell refresh but they show CPU's with an 80W TDP and the i7-6700 is only a 65W part. I would email their support just to make sure.

Well thats... comforting. Their site is a weird mashup of contradictory information, so that's not really surprising. From what the product says, it can handle anything under 80w TDP. I'd try looking in to reviews and see how people who've actually used it ended up.

Yeah I looked around for a while and I managed to find a site that tested it with an i5 3570k which has 77TDP(12 more than the i7 6700) and it managed to keep stock full load at 33 degrees C over ambient which to me seems pretty good and given that I'm going to have 6 case fans i think my airflow will manage to keep it reasonably cool for gaming
