i7 6700k with GTX 760

I have a gtx 760 but can not afford a new GPU (980ti to be specific) few the next few months. I'm about to buy the new i7 6700k, Is this too much of a bottleneck or should it be okay ?

It will be fine.

The 6700k will be able to handle everything all the way up to a Titan, so you'll be able to get the full performance of the GTX 760 with no issues whatsoever.

The 760 is obviously not the most powerful card out there any more, but will be a fine placeholder until you can upgrade to the GTX 980ti.
