I7 6700K wrong amount of cores and threads displayed

When viewing my CPU's information on CPU-Z my I7 6700K appears as having 2 cores and 4 threads with is wrong. I cleared the CMOS and still nothing has changed. I've also updated he bios to the latest version there is. Also this has happened twice since I got a replacement from Amazon and had the exact same problem.
What should I do?

Using msconfig, go to the boot > advanced settings and uncheck the number of processors.

What does your BIOS say?
It might just be an error between a current patch of CPU-Z and the 6700k. Check your BIOS and see if you can locate the information you need.

Good idea! CPU-Z incorrectly identifies the chipset version of my motherboard, so it is not always right.
