So I have a stable setup at 1.28V for Vcore, overclocked to 4.4 GHz. The only issue is that my temps under full load are pretty wild. I reach about 90C on prime 95 with the blend test on my worst core. My worst core is about 15C hotter than the best. To me that seems a bit high considering I am using a liquid cooled system. Idle temps are good at fans at full blast I get min temps of 19-20C. I have the EK supremacy evo, ek d5 xres pump/resovoir, and ek coolstream xe.
I have also re-seated the block and reapplied thermal paste.
What do you guys think? Did i get a dud? Should I exchange it? any advice is welcome thank you.

ehhh thats pretty hot man.
whats ur ambient temp though?
ur voltage is good. maybe drop it down. i dont have an i7 but i can run my i5 @ 4.6 with 1.22v
ive overclocked the shit outta my rigs and ive never seen anythign over 85 myself. thats with a C2Q system.

what was ur most stable speed with under 1.3v?

Thought I was good at 4.3ghz at 1.28v until I ran OCCT and it decided I wasn't.
My most stable now is 4.2ghz at 1.28v.
