I'm not sure which parts are important to list so I'll just put everything I can think of..

RAM: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0143UM4TC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 (3200 MHz version)
CPU : i7 7700k
GPU: GIGABYTE 1080 Ti EVGA
--------------------------
As said, I went into the BIOS and adjusted the advanced frequency settings for the CPU and memory. There was a prelisted dropdown menu in the "Uprade CPU" option for my BIOS, which listed 5GHz for the i7 7700k which I selected after turning on XMP 1. I also turned on XMP 1 for the RAM which automatically adjusted the frequency to 3200MHz. I also turned off turbo boost as another suggested.
My question is, when I run a stress test, my CPU-Z peaks out at 4.8GHz flat, and for the ram 1600MHz flat. Is there an obvious issue here?
I've read through my motherboard manual several times to no avail.
Also, after making changing in the BIOS when I run some games my PC will crash. It most recently happened when I turned off turbo, so I'll turn that back on and see if it is fixed.
