Question i7 8086K on 5GHz all the time

Hello, currently I'm suffering with problem described in the title. The problem occured after I changed a few settings in BIOS after its flash. Changes were following:

Enhanced Multi-Core Performanc -> Enabled
CPU Flex Ratio Override -> Enabled
Intel(R) Turbo Boost Technology -> Enabled
Intel(R) Speed Shift Technology -> Enabled

I'm not very familiar with this kind of stuff so I am not even sure if it is really problem. However, what I would expect is that the CPU frequency will change dependantly on the CPU load not that it's all the time the maximum turbo boost frequency, moreover if this frequency should be achieved only if one core is used.

Enhanced MultiCore Performance is MCE mode...(MultiCore Enhancement)

WHen on, it will run all cores at max turbo if cooling/power limits allow...

(If you leave MB in and WIndows power mngmt in Balanced, you may still idle down to 800-1000 MHz under no load...)

Then the CPU runs on 4,3GHz all the time, regardless how many cores used or how high is CPU load. That was the reason why I started to mess with BIOS. I don't do many changes here usually but my CPU was bellow expectations in numerous tests bcs it never went above 4,3GHz.

Correct, that's how it works. Can't such jusmps make the systém unstable? And if I gonna leave it as it is now then is it somehow dangerous for the CPU itself (or other components)? I don't suffer with BSODs, coolikng looks fine as well. I was just surprised that it is all the time on the maximum frequency. So MCE is answer then.

In windows power management, you have the option to set the max cpu to 100%.
You also should set the minimum cpu to something like 20%.

There may also be something in the bios to enable speedstep.
That allows the cpu to downclock when there is little to do.

Aye, that works only if Ballanced power plan is set up. If Performance power plan is on then nothing happens even if I set up CPU minimum at 5%.

Now I have Ballanced power plan on, CPU is set up at 90% minimum (frequency oscilates between 3,6GHz and 5GHz).

So I have one more question: If I will return power plan to High Performance then is it somehow dangerous for the CPU if it gonna run on 5GHz all the time as forced by enabled Enhanced MultiCore Performance option in BIOS?
