i7 920 & asus z97 pro mobo

Hi im not a computer expert : / im trying to find out if the Intel core i7 920 will work with the Asus Z97 Pro motherboard?

No. You need a socket 1150 cpu for the z97. The i7 920 is socket 1366.

Sell the i7 920, they are still worth good money used, on ebay. And buy a socket 1150 i5 or i7.
