I got a offer to buy the i9 9900k for "cheap" and if the other parts dont bottleneck the i9 i think i might get it. if i should change the mobo and or PSU then il pass.

I7 9700f Asus Rog Strix b360f gaming mobo 32gb 2666mhz ram,2070s and
seasonic Focus 650w 80+ gold.

Solution
If you are only gaming, you wont see that big of a difference between 9900K and 9700F.
For how 'cheap' can you get the i9?
The rest of the system is good, but you cant overclock on that motherboard,so the whole concept of i9 9900K is already lost in my opinion, you do get higher clocks out of the box,but for gaming i wouldnt get it over the 9700F.
Just my opinion.

The cost is more than $200, a tx3 cooler is already inadequate for your 9700F and the 9900K runs considerably hotter.
I would not bother unless you play multiplayer games with many participants.
Then, the extra threads of the 9900K will be useful.

I already had a noctua D15, not updated my specs in a long time. So a friend bought the i7, mobo and ram. So new mobo and ram now. Old thread and to late to do anything now anyway 😁
