[SOLVED] I7 9700k motherboard question ??

Would my Asus strix z370 gaming f board be a wise option for a 9700k or should I just get a 8700k instead ?

Most Z370 boards , don't have a BIOS updated to support the 9700k , get the 8700k so that it will post.

ive already got an i3 8100 so bios update wouldn't be a problem, would the boar be high end enough to withstand overclocking the 9700k ?

With a decent cooling solution , some overclocking is possible , not high OC.
