Hi everyone!
I´m having trouble getting a proper Overclock setup to full efficiency!
Im currently running and automatic oc profile on the auros master at 4.9Ghz on games it works mostly fine but i think that some from time to time stutters are related to it i guess and fps dips for 1 or 2 seconds from time to time in intensive areas? could be wrong or is it indeed related?
I´ve done some search online about it but the aorus master z390 bios seems more picky or rather off the tradicional simpler way of or at least the proper terms on bios to change!
My goal is 4.9 overclock since i´ve seen around that 5.00 ghz takes alot of work to refine and probably not worth the effort!
CPU = i7 9700k
16Gb 3200mhz g.skill
Im runnin a noctua d15 so it´s not a problem temperature wise!
I get mostly 65 max gaming temperatures!
But when i run benchmarks such as Passmark perfomance app benchmark the cpu goes to 98 celcius for a brief 5 seconds due to the Heavy voltage from motherboard = 1.40/1.43 V core!
If anyone could help me setup a Proper 4.9 or even 5.00 ghz OC setup i would be imensely apreciated!
And happy to learn a few thing with this motherboard setup!
If any further questions are needed to be answered just post and i will gladly answer!

Solution
9700k should do 5Ghz pretty easy, tbh those auto overclocks are not very good, that's why your vcore is really high watch YouTube videos about overclocking, that's what i did with my 8700k, had never overclocked before that, wasn't to bad i followed this video

and pretty much followed step by step, after a while i started changing a few things like drooping the vcore

just remember to have a stock bios setting saved and take it slow
