You are right, the 80mm is behind the mobo though, you can't see it so no point in an LED. I don't really think its necessary, but if you want it then it definitely won't hurt your system. 80mm fans tend to be noisy too...I would make sure your fans are quiet fans if you are going to have 7 of them all running lol, otherwise it will sound like a 747.

Hmm...but like the kid said the 80mm are noisy...they generally have higher RPM, inturn produce the high pitch noise...So mayb u can get 1 LED 120MM, 2 Scyte, 1 high quality 80MM (Check the noise output and get a lower dba fan)...
So u can place the LED 120 where it is visible...

Those Sycthe fans are reviewed as pretty quiet and came recommendd in a Tom's article. Dropped the 80mm.

Thanks!

Debating bumping up to that $150 Triton Headset, but then I feel I'll need a soundcard to get value out of it, so it turns into a $300 upgrade. Think I'll just stick with the $50 Fatality one.

Good thing that happened was my payment for work has been delyaed a week (equalling many sleepless nights reconfiguring rig, and asking questions and scouring the web). So the system I have now I feel so much better about then the one I would have bought 4 days ago if I had my money cleared already :)

Hope it clears today!!!
