pls look on Memory types DDR4-2133/2400, DDR3L-1333/1600 @ 1.35V this i have now and saw some guys with i7 8700 with memory types 2600 on the same motherboard ms-b9071 which can work with max 2400 Hz so if i9 9900 have the same memory types and
TDP 65 W why nobody use it and can i use it or i9 9900k is a risk in that? sry im not native english.
The RAM speed the cpu supports is largely irrelevant, the important thing is the RAM speed supported by the motherboard. However any motherboard that supports a 7400 will not support 8th or 9th generation CPU’s. Although the sockets are the same the 8th and 9th generation have addictions pins dedicated to power delivery and use different motherboard chipsets.
