I installed the intel matrix storage driver for my windows 7 64 bit setup which also installs iaantmon.exe and iaanotif.exe. I read that these programs are supposed to notify if a disk in a raid-setup fails..Im not sure if they do more than that.
I dont have a raid setup, only a single samsung 7200 rpm HD in ahci mode..and I also connect some drives using eSata.
is it safe to disable iaantmon.exe and iaanotif.exe from starting up automatically with windows?
Or do these programs increase performance somehow?
intel i7 920, asus p6t se motherboard, 6 gig, samsung f3 1tb hd, win 7 ultimate 64 bit
