IB Worth it for me ?

Hello all, I am currently building my first computer ever and having a hard time deciding whether to wait for the IB i5-3570k or just stick to the i5-2500k. My current specs are as follow:

Mobo: ASRock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3
GPU: EVGA gtx560ti 1gb
PSU: Corsair TX750w
RAM: 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance ddr3
XSPC Rasa 750 rs240 watercooling
Corsair 240GB SATA 3 6gb SSD

I will be using my computer mostly for gaming and surfing the web. Gaming include: Guild wars 2, Counter-strike global offensive, Left4dead2, Crysis 2, Team-Fortress 2.

If I were to go with the i5-2500k I would oc it to 4.2-4.5ghz somewhere between there. And I don't know if its really worth spending the extra bucks to get the i5-3570k that will be coming out this month. Will the 2500k still be a good/moderate future proof cpu or is it best to just get the latest gizmo ?

If the new i5 is within £10 of the 2500k then buy it, if not then don't bother

stick with 2500k; some people are even scared that IB will be a downgrade for OCers.

As of right now I have a HP a6750y

Specs:
cpu: AMD Phenom X4 9650 / 2.3 GHz
mobo: MSI MS-7548 (Aspen)
ram: 8gb ddr2
gpu: Radeon HD 4670
stock fan, 400w psu

bought straight out of best buy a few years back =].......

might as well wait for ivy and get that, the performance isn't much but its still there. Only like another month more so not too far off.

Best if you stay with 2500k, Most games wont even max out 2500k until few years from now...

Why put 2500k aside when it's still an awesome chip? If he buy IB, where he ganna put the 2500k, it's like he wasted $220 for another CPU which doesn't really matter in games as only few FPS improvement... AND beside, PCIe 3.0 is the same as PCIe 2.0 so doesn't matter if he got 2500k with GTx 680 because PCIe 2.0 cant get maxed out by these new 28nm cards(in games mostly)... you only go for upgrade if you find your hardware to be slow and 2500k is not slow plus you can OC it to be faster, upgrade your CPU only if it's bottlenecking your Video Card or is not getting good FPS, right now, 2500k is still awesome... IB not worth upgrading to as it's only little improvement in games...

Lol... He dont have 2500k? I though he was ganna upgrade or something and needed suggestion... Buy IB if you dont have 2500k yet..
