Icon and properties disappeared

As the title suggests, when I mouseover the file, it says nothing.
When I right click it shows 'Cut' 'Delete' and 'Create Shortcut'

Any tips as to how to restore anything about these file(s)?

Yesterday I had 1 file like this, today I have 2 files (in total) like this.

It has no info at all
I don't even remember what file it was (I have a tendency to save random files on my desktop, only to move it later)

Most likely be the shortcut to a game, or a picture
If it is one of the two, would it give you any ideas?
