This issue has started only a few days ago, no matter what guide I follow, all my icons appears on my secondary monitor, which is number two in Nvidia settings, and in Windows settings
What can I do to make icons always appear on primary monitor??

If I go into display settings and change "make this screen primary" it directly moves all my icons to the non primary monitor, wth?!

In NVidia Control Panel --> Display --> Set up multiple displays.
Under the second section, "Drag the icons to match your display configuration". does the display you want your icons to appear on have the asterisk?

Nope, vice versa, and if I change it up, they all get moved to the monitor without the asterisk

What happens if you manually move the icons to the primary monitor and reboot your system? Do the icons stay on the primary display or do they move back?

Thanks for reply

The icons moves back to the secondary monitor after restart.

Ok. Sounds like something's hosed up between primary and secondary displays. Shut down your system and disconnect your secondary display. Then restart your system. Your icons should be back on the primary display. This should also reset your display priority. Please go back into NVidia Control Panel to ensure there is no mention of the secondary display.

Shut down your computer once more and reconnect the secondary display. Restart and let me know if the icons remain on the primary display. If not, please go back into NVidia Control Panel and confirm the Primary Display is still set correctly.

I just did all this, tried swapping the outputs too, and no matter what I did, it instantly puts almost all of my icons to my second monitor...

Notice I say "almost"
A few notepads and one game stays on my primary monitor, and there is NO logic on how, because all stuff is installed on same disc, and some of the notepads are very old, and the game is newly installed...

If you right click anywhere in the empty space of your desktop and select "View", is "Auto arrange icons" selected? You may try to click on that to see if it resolves your problem...

Did that a few days ago, no luck, if its on, they get sorted on secondary, if i untick it and move every icon to primary, enable it then they all flies back to the second monitor

This is super weird...

What type of connections are you using on these screens? How many video cards do you have? What model(s)?

I have DisplayPort 1.4 on both my monitors, and one HDMI connected to my TV, but its unticked in NVIDIA control panel

I have tried switching them on the GPU physically, no difference they still get swapped to the secondary

I have one RXT 2080 Super MSI

Have you tried removing the TV from the equation? Unplug the HMDI from the computer. Sent screens as you would like to. Reboot if necessary. Any change?

Another question: All all screens/TVs coming off the Nvidia card, or are you using integrated graphics for any connections (if applicable)?
