icons are rearranged when i play video games

I only recently started having this problem.
whenever i play a video game all of my desktop icons are rearranged. I never used to have this problem even when i played the same games i play now. the game is running at 1920x1080 and so is my desktop. i already unchecked auto arrange icons and align icons to grid. Its not random either. regardless of where i place them in the desktop they always get rearranged into the same order. They are always sorted by "item type". its pretty annoying. like i said, this never happened to me before, it just started happening out of nowhere. all i want is for my desktop icons to stay where i put them.

Right click anywhere on the desktop and uncheck "Auto Arrange Icons".

I found out my problem, it happens when i have my monitor connected via DisplayPort and another port connected with via HDMI

well i do have my computer monitor connected through DVI and my tv connected through HDMI

i just have both connected to my PC and i mirror the displays.

How did you fix the issue? I have the same one, and it also unmaximizes my windows I have open. I'm running a GTX 1070.

I didn't, instead of expand or duplicate I just use the computer monitor (Windows + P), because I only have a monitor and a tv connected and I only use it tv to watch movies. So yeah, it's impossible to have them duplicated, don't know why, Hope AMD fix this
