I went with the 1000w psu beacuse I plan on throwing another 980 in there eventually and the water cooler because I'm going to overclock the i5.

It's one of the best on the market. Doesnt break a sweat with any setup I throw at it . I'm about to do a 970 SLI.

I would ditch the h100. There are cheaper and MUCH quieter air coolers that have BETTER performance.

Same temps as H105 (better than h100) and better than h100i on balanced which is what everyone runs it on. NO ONE ever runs it on maximum. It sounds like a jet engine.

Why pay that much for a cooler that barely offers 2-4c over a $75 air cooler? Plus the H110 is VERY loud. 2x louder or more than comparable air coolers.

some people just like water cooling! I prefer air coolers myself. I suggested the h110 since he was getting the h105.

Thought he had the H100i. Anyway I still firmly recommend air coolers is you want anything close to quiet.

Sold! why do people even use the h100i when this is around?

Because people like to be able to say they have watercooling. That is all it is. Bragging rights. In the real PC community any one of those top end air coolers will get WAY more respect than an h100i.

Only the "elite" closed loops get any credit. The NZXT kraken x61 or the swiftech H220 are some examples.
