IDE Atapi controller transfer mode

yea i realised my dvd drive wasnt playing things as it
should checked it out realised the IDE Atapi controller
transfer mode should be set to DMA it was but its still
using PIO how do i change it?

If youre board uses an intel chipset,up to the 850 series,download
the application accelerator 2.3 from intel.You can set all drives except
SATA from within the app.,look for a wrench,that means its editable.
