ide controller/adapter options

I'm thinking about getting a new motherboard. I know they don't come with ide connectors any more. I have a fairly new ide/pata 500gb hard drive. Are there pci ide controllers or sata to ide adapters that work good. And is it even worth it? Are there problem associated with doing this?

a "fairly new" ide drive? wow, okay.

Just google "ide to sata adapter", I'm sure you'll fine one.

You probably won't be able to boot from it. It might be "new", but it's so old it's not really worth it anymore.
