ide to usb female port

i want to convert an cd player that has an ide cd drive ,i want to convert it to a usb port to play music via usb intead of the cd drive >

how can i covert that ?

If you are good with electronics - you can hack your boombox by ripping the CD drive out, replacing it with eg Raspberry PI with a touch screen, loading it with Kodi.

but this is not a boom box

so the cd drive can be removed and it has a standard ide connection same as a computer cd/dvd drive

so wat i want to do is convert the cd drive to a usb input istead of playing audio cds i want to play audio via usb stick

There's probably a second-hand market for units like this. Sell this, get whatever media player you like.
