I've currently got a
- i5 4670, Water Cooled (Corsair H75)
- R9 270x, Air Cooled

At this very point in time outdoor temp of around 27 C but not sure of indoor exactly probably a couple degrees higher. With only a couple Chrome tabs and steam open my CPU is sitting at 45 C with a max of 68 C today. (With the temperature today being in the low 30's). My GPU is at 47 C with a max of 53 today.

I'm going to do a clean of my case ect of any dust that may be restricting airflow but i want to see if there is anything else that might be wrong. (Also might reapply thermal compound incase of the contact not being enough.)

Solution
if you have a small case or a case with little fans there might not be any air movement inside the case. take the side panel off and after 20 min see if the temp goes down. if it does look to see if you can add a fan or two in the case. in rl you want two fans pull cold air in and two fans on top of case to blow hot air out. with most mb having 3 fan headers most people use them for two in and one out.
