Been searching the forums since last night. Found some good info and some good fixes for my IE crashing at websites (seems to be java related) So focused on that end by getting the latest Java out. Also saw another thread that seemed be similar to my problem. Involved downloading "mshtml.dll" and copying that file to windows/system.

Between these two my problems appeared to be gone. However no such luck.

Today I recieved this error.

The application, C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE, generated an application error The error occurred on 10/19/2006 @ 12:16:46.062 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 75C61E41 (jscript!DllCanUnloadNow)

After many hours of google'ing jscript!DllCanUnloadNow or just DllCanUnloadNow I've come to the realization that I've no idea what people are talking about on all the hits I got when I did the search. Therefore at a bit of a loss.

hi.why continue to use explore
when exist
opera,firefox
try one of these.
be sure that u got no virus or spyware, and use other broswer.

I'd remove all your browser helper objects because one of them could be crashing your ie. Download hijackthis to remove them. Some bho's are useful like adobe reader and stuff but aren't required to use iexplore and removing them won't stop adobe reader from loading pdf files.

Just a note, if you use hijackthis and you get any entries with 010:blahblah don't check and remove them cause removing them will damage your net flow even if the entry is nasty. If any 010:'s (zero-ten) show up then download lspfix and remove anything besides msmsock.dll, winrnr.dll and rsvpsp.dll. I just have to mention that cause hijackthis rocks but people who 'fix' 010: problems end up wondering why their net doesn't work anymore.
