I have been wondering about this for awhile now and now I should rather ask the community from their experience. What will happen if I buy a copy of Windows 10 on the Microsoft store? Will I keep the copy and when I upgrade can I just reload it on the new pc?

Solution
I believe Microsoft sell the retail copy so in theory if you keep the install key, even if its not linked to a MSA (Microsoft Account) it should still let you install it on another PC. I have been known to be wrong though :)

WIn 10 tries to link itself to accounts, even if you don't want it to.

I would tie it to an account. Then upon a new install on a new machine, it automatically verifies as your licensed OS on install once you log into your account.
