If i download a new os will it fix my network problem?

So I built a new pc that has Vista(used a old pc hard drive) and mymotherboard's(Gigabyte F2A68HM-DS2H)LAN drivers aren't working with Vista so I can't connect to the internet via Ethernet cable.So I ask if I got Windows 10 and installed it in to my pc will I be able to connect to the internet via Ethernet finally?

Using an old hdd without doing a clean reinstall can cause all sorts of problems. A lot of times the is won't even boot. When you buy 10 and do a clean reinstall and install drivers it should be better.

U can't take an old HD, with drivers for the old Mobo, and take it to another machine to boot another completely different Mobo.

W10, being so new, has it own problems, so will that be your salvation? UNKNOWN.

I recommend stable W7 or W8, get that working first, and you have another 8 months to upgrade to W10, free.
